Lydd Ladies
A tougher test this week against a well organised Barming ladies, saw Lydd ladies come out on top with a 3-0 win.
An even game through out.
First half Barming were the better team and pushed Lydd back. Only the last ten minutes of the first half saw Lydd threaten the opposition goal.
Second half and Lydd were calmer in possession and the pressure told.
After some good pressure in the box, Lydd was awarded a penalty.
This was placed in the top corner by Rosie Elliot.
A couple of minutes later Paris Williams with a run down the left made it two.
After the drinks break a change in formation saw Lydd add another on 90 mins by Laura Genner.
Overall this was a good performance which improved on last week. Shape in & out of possession was good.
As well as the goals, a clean sheet was good for the defence who worked hard.
We wish Barming all the best for the upcoming season.
Next week we welcome Bettshanger development to Lindsey field.
